Suzuki (Japanese Seabass) Yokohama, April 3rd, 2014

 

I caught these suzuki while fishing from a small boat next to Ōsanbashi Pier in Yokohama, Japan.  My guide had me casting very light hard plastic lures deep into the concrete caverns between the pier's supporting columns.  It was tricky to cast into such a tight space with very choppy water.  I smacked the lure into concrete more than once, to the chagrin of my guide whose tackle we were using.
